All the Best Front Row Style from Paris Fashion Week
The Paris collections are fashion’s main event, and there’s a wide range of styles on display at the spring/summer 2022 shows currently underway. When celebrities from across the globe fly in to experience the latest from Dior, Saint Laurent, Chanel and Givenchy, they’ll bring A-list toys and suitcases full of designer goods. After several seasons of virtual events and live runways, PFW’s schedule of live events has led to a renaissance of front-row seats and many high-profile groups.
The fun begins before the show even begins. In honor of Thierry Mugler, reminiscing about the Couturissime at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Cardi B visited the museum in a classic from the Mugler archives. The red sequined and feathered strapless dress from the designer’s fall/winter 1995 collection was exquisite when it debuted on Eva Herzigova nearly two decades earlier. Cardi recreated the look down to blonde hair and adorned eyebrows.
Maria Grazia Chiuri’s disco-themed runway for Dior at the Jardin des Tuileries brought together stars like Natalia Vodianova, Rosamund Pike and Jurnee Smollett — all dressed for the age of nine. However, the appearance that resonated the most was BlackPink star Jisoo, who, in a mini A-line dress with a hand-painted portrait, showcased the artistic elegance of the Dior woman.
Saint Laurent’s rock ‘n’ roll musings took center stage during Anthony Vaccarello’s performance at the Jardins du Trocadéro. Led by longtime favorites Carla Bruni and Charlotte Gainsbourg, the team of front row managers keeps things short, sweet, and male-inspired. Titane actress Agathe Rousselle opted for a black leather suit, while Gossip Girl star Emily Alyn Lind opted for short shorts. Present to add some color to the proceedings was actress Talia Ryder, whose brocade jumpsuit glittered under the lights of the Eiffel Tower.
